Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, the 4,000 pages of regulations released in August 2016, and the “guidance” issued by the Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education in January 2017, all one-stop partners, including Perkins postsecondary recipients must contribute to one-stop infrastructure costs and “career services” (basic, individualized, and follow-up). This session will help you navigate the dizzying array of regulations and guidance that has been shared by federal agencies, including how this guidance interacts with federal cost principles. Hear how states are calculating contribution caps and informing the development of the state funding mechanism.
